Allow me to add multiples of a category to my profile
Let me classify myself as more than one role, in more than one city, and in more than one industry.
I am a single founder looking for an Engineer and Mentor. Is allowing more than one "What I'm looking for" request in your feature pipeline?
I believe I can create 2 separate accounts in order to achieve this, but do not feel that is the ideal solution.
We sell services AND products (but more services for now).
Profiles are now extremely limited. I'm best described by more than a single descriptor from a drop-down menu. At least let me use my own terms.
What I'm searching for is similarly limited. You assume a user is looking for only a single co-founder, which is not necessarily true.
In virtually every question, you constrain users to your answers, which were not my answers. By definition, entrepreneurs do not fit easily into the same few checkboxes. Please add 'Other' to every question and let us describe our needs, situations, and ideas. After scanning these answers, many will not read the "essay" section.
Why do you recommend people also seeking co-founders and whose ventures are completely unrelated to mine? I've invested substantially in something very specific; I'm not about to just drop it to join someone else's venture, and vice versa.
At Launch 2013, you could have a whiteboard & post-it notes to connect people who stop by your booth to facilitate introductions. Rapid prototyping, guys! Get on it! ;-)
I am actually looking for 2 co-founders for my startup - a programmer as well as a designer. The system only lets me search for 1 type of role rather than multiple roles. Please add the capability to allow searching for multiple co-founders.
It would be helpful to provide multiple options for types of people a user can search for, along with being able to select a range of financial commitments from partners.
A social network with a bioregional focus, content poetry and culture oriented with a MOOC and an annual event that gathers this tribe together.
Some of us are Operations folks that would be a good co-founder to run the business side of things, but wouldn't necessarily describe ourselves as Business Development or Marketing. So can you put an "Other" category and then require people to "describe" if they select that. Or, add an Operations category at least!
Instead of having th current exclusive selection of the options (radio button type), have an mutlple selection (check box type for some.
For example, in Equity, we may be considering both sweat equity and investment.
Music website- B2B, karaoke, advertising, membership fees, prototype build and Beta testing at companies in the NYC area
We are a software company that has a retail product and are B2B and B2C could probably fit in sevral. Also please add security as an industry.
I could see this being lower priority, but for folks who travel a lot beong able to indicate multiple cities would be handy.
Enable people like me, who work virtually, to access co-founder partners globally wo may need my talents.
I need a marketer AND a developer. You should allow for multiple answers to this question.

This was my immediate issue on signup. A single industry, and a single expertise is extremely limiting.

Age is one of the most important criteria when selecting a cofounder. I personally do not care, but there are many who prefers young in their early 20's
